With the political landscape undergoing significant change and the pandemic forcing a reexamination of the health sector, the Miami Herbert Business School Center for Health Management and Policy has recently announced its 10th annual Business of Health Care Conference. Entitled Policy, Politics & the Pandemic – U.S. & Beyond, the meeting will take place Friday, April 16, 2021 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Like last year’s event, this year’s conference will be completely virtual.
Featured speakers include Alex Azar, former United States Secretary of Health and Human Services; Carissa F. Etienne, MD, Director, Pan American Health Organization; Julio Frenk, MD, President, University of Miami; Donna E. Shalala, former United States Secretary of Health and Human Services; and Daniel Salas Peraza, MD, Minister of Health, Presidency of the Government of Costa Rica.
