Virginia A. Caine, MD
President, National Medical Association

Virginia A. Caine, MD is the Director and Chief Medical Officer of the Marion County Public Health Department. She is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine Infectious Diseases Division. She is the Past President of American Public Health Association, President of the National Medical Association (NMA), Chair of the Infectious Diseases Section, and member of the NMA and Indiana COVID-19 Task Forces. Recently appointed a member of the federal committee for Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Board of Scientific Counselors, Deputy Director for Infectious Diseases. In 2020, the Indianapolis Business Journal (IBJ) named her as one of 40 Influential People of the past 40 years, as they celebrated 40 Years of Progress in Indianapolis.

Steven Landers, MD
Chief Executive Officer, National Alliance for Care at Home

Dr. Steven “Steve” Landers is a recognized leader in home health, primary care, and aging services, with nearly two decades of experience as a physician, executive, and public health policy advocate. As the first CEO of the National Alliance for Care at Home, he is dedicated to advancing home- and community-based care for aging Americans. A board-certified physician in family medicine, geriatric medicine, and hospice and palliative medicine, Dr. Landers emphasizes the importance of compassionate, cost-effective care.

Mary Mayhew
President and Chief Executive Officer, Florida Hospital Association

Mary C. Mayhew joined the Florida Hospital Association as President and CEO in October 2020. Under her leadership and in partnership with Florida’s hospitals, Mayhew has focused the organization’s efforts to transform the delivery of health care to support a modern, sophisticated system that can respond to the evolving needs of Florida’s citizens and visitors alike. Mayhew’s vision has been squarely focused on policies and initiatives at the state and federal level that support improved and timely access to critical care and support services, especially mental health and post-acute care services. A champion for innovation, Mayhew is a tireless advocate for the funding of community-based mental health services and evidence-based models of care that integrate physical and mental health.

Mike Tuffin
President and Chief Executive Officer, AHIP

Mike Tuffin is President & CEO of AHIP, the national trade association whose members provide health care coverage, services, and solutions to hundreds of millions of Americans every day. Tuffin has worked at the intersection of the health care industry and public policy for more than 20 years.

Steven G. Ullmann
Professor and Director, Center for Health Management and Policy, Miami Herbert Business School

Steven G. Ullmann is Professor and Director of the Center for Health Management and Policy at the University of Miami Herbert Business School. Dr. Ullmann holds secondary appointments in the Department of Economics as well as in the Departments of Epidemiology & Public Health and Family Medicine & Community Health in the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, specializing in the areas of health care management, health care economics and health care policy.

David Wagner
Market President, Florida Blue – South Florida

David Wagner is the Florida Blue Market President for South Florida. In this role, Wagner is responsible for the company’s business operations in an eight-county region from the Keys north to the Treasure Coast including strategic oversight and leadership of business planning, membership acquisition, and retention and brand visibility enhancement.
